Magical volunteers!! Last week I said we were in the last leg, so that must mean now we are in the last foot? Less than two weeks until Election Day! I’m knocking 50-100 doors every day until November 5th and LOTS of people are saying they’ve gotten their ballots but haven’t decided how to vote for City Council yet. This is a great time to canvas if you’ve wanted to try but just haven’t had the time! People are friendly, paying attention, and want more information to inform their choices.
If you haven’t been able to volunteer yet this campaign season, we hope you’ll join us for one of our final push efforts! Here are the group canvasses we have on deck:
Saturday 10/26 in East Moreland, meet at Berkeley Park
Sunday 10/27 with Sunrise PDX in Crestwood, meet at Dickinson Park. We’re super excited to be canvassing with Sunrise!
Saturday 11/2 Location TBD
If you’re not comfortable knocking on doors, but you’re willing to drop literature at doors, come on out! We’ll give you flyers and a list of addresses and all you have to do is leave a flyer on a door handle 🙃
